SDRF Rescues Elderly Man Who Attempted Suicide by Jumping into River in JK
On Thursday, an elderly man from Kana Chak attempted to take his own life by jumping into the river Chenab from the Steel Bridge Akhnoor in Jammu. However, he was fortunate to be rescued by the prompt action of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).

An official stated that the SDRF team, headed by SI Sahab Singh, saved the man’s life by rescuing him from the river. The man was immediately shifted to SDH Akhnoor for medical treatment.
