Notification of Select List for Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Medical Lab Technology Posts in Skill Development Department

 

Notification No. 18 – PSC (DR-S) of 2023

 

Dated: 09.05.2023

 

Whereas, the Department of Skill Development, through communication No. Edu/Tech/Genl/61/2019 dated: 30.09.2020, referred five (05) posts (OM:03, RBA:01, SC:01) of Lecturer-II (Non Engineering) Medical Lab Technology to the J&K Public Service Commission to be filled in accordance with the relevant departmental rules; and

 

Whereas, the J&K Public Service Commission advertised the aforementioned posts through Notification No. 06-PSC (DR-P) of 2022 dated: 24.01.2022; and

 

Whereas, 315 applications were received in response to the above notification, and a written test was conducted on 14.11.2022, in which 223 candidates appeared. The result of the written test was declared through Notification No. PSC/Exam/2022/39 dated 19.12.2022, in accordance with Rule 32 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Conduct of Examinations) Rules, 2005, read with Rule 31 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as amended to date. A total of 25 candidates qualified the written test and were called for an interview; and

 

Whereas, the viva-voce of the candidates who qualified the written exam was conducted on 13.04.2023, with the assistance of an expert.

 

Therefore, on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the written test and interview, in accordance with Rule 43 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, and other related parameters, the merit of the candidates who appeared in the interview is enclosed as Annexure-“A” to this Notification.

 

As a result of the aforementioned facts, the provisional select list against the available posts is given in Annexure-B to this Notification.
