SRINAGAR: The body of a 13-year-old girl, who tragically drowned last Saturday, was successfully retrieved on Tuesday following relentless efforts over the past four days.
Nazir Ahmad, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Handwara, confirmed that a joint rescue team managed to recover the girl’s body from the river Pohru.
Quoting by KNO,Ahmad further explained that an extensive search and rescue operation had been ongoing for the past four days to locate the teenager’s body.
After considerable and arduous efforts, the rescue team succeeded in recovering the girl’s body from the river—(KNO).
