Surya Kumar Yadav has become the batsman with most sixes in T20 International cricket in a calendar year.  In this case, he has left Pakistan’s Muhammad Rizwan behind.  Rizwan hit a total of 42 sixes in a calendar year in the year 2021.

Suryakumar Yadav has played 21 T20 International matches so far in the year 2022.  During this time, 732 runs came out of his bat.  These include 1 century and 5 fifties.  Surya Kumar also hit 45 sixes during this time.

  The first match of the three-match T20I series between India and South Africa was played in Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday.  Team India won this match by 8 wickets.  In the match, the bowlers of Team India performed brilliantly and restricted South Africa to 106 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs, in response to the brilliant performances of KL Rahul (51*) and Surya Kumar Yadav (50).  Based on innings *) won the match by 8 wickets with 20 balls to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
