  World Heart Day 2022: Today is World Heart Day.  World Heart Day was established by the World Heart Federation to fight and raise awareness about heart diseases and is observed on 29 September every year.  Today, events are held around the world to educate people about cardiovascular disease (CVD), its warning signs, prevention methods, and how to help those affected.

  This year World Heart Day is being celebrated on the theme ‘Use your heart for every heart’.  That is, use the heart for all hearts.  The goal of this theme is to bring people together to work together for a healthy heart.

  World Heart Day was celebrated for the first time in 2000 on September 24.  World Heart Federation and World Health Organization jointly founded this special day.  Antoine Bayes de Luna, who was president of the World Heart Federation from 1997 to 1999, is credited with introducing the idea of ​​Heart Day to the world.
