Marriage Ceremony in Srinagar,Srinagar: A local NGO organized a grand mass marriage ceremony on Thursday, uniting twelve couples from different districts in holy matrimony. Ashiq Hussain, the Chairman of the NGO ‘Peace and Friendship Foundation JK,’ expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, “Today, we successfully conducted a marriage function at our branch office near Saida Kadal, Srinagar, where we brought together twelve couples from various parts of the valley.”
Quoting by KNO,Hussain further mentioned that all the families involved in the ceremony were deserving candidates, and the organization invested approximately seven lakh rupees to make the mass marriage function a reality.
The Nikkah ceremony was conducted by Maulana Hakeem Sajad, assisted by Maulana Nazir Ahmad (KNO).
