Recruitment Notification for Anganwadi Workers in Poshan Project Gundana

Doda: Applications are invited from eligible female candidates for the recruitment of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) in Anganwadi Centres under Poshan Project Gundana on an honorarium basis. Interested candidates must submit their applications on the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-B) as per the details mentioned below.

Important Criteria for Selection:

1. Age Limit: Candidates must be 18-37 years as of 01-01-2024.
2. Domicile: Applicant must be a domicile of UT of J&K and a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located. Proof of residence will be based on the voter list.
   • If the candidate’s name appears with her parents in the voter list, an unmarried certificate from the Tehsildar is required.
   • In case of any dispute regarding residence, a certificate from the concerned SDM/ACR will be accepted.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • Minimum: 10+2 (Higher Secondary)
   • Maximum: Graduation
   • Candidates with qualifications higher than graduation are not eligible.
4. Merit-Based Selection: Selection will be based purely on merit (marks obtained in 10+2). No other criteria will be considered.
5. Tie-Breaker: In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate.
6. Family Preference: Eligible candidates from the family of a retiring Anganwadi Worker (AWW) or Sahayika (AWH) will receive an additional 2% weightage.

Documents Required:

Applicants must submit self-attested copies of the following documents:

1. Academic Qualification Certificates (10+2 and Graduation) along with Marks Sheets.
2. Date of Birth Certificate (Matric Diploma/Marks Card).
3. Domicile Certificate.
4. Latest Certified Copy of Panchayat/Ward Voter List as proof of residence.
5. Unmarried Certificate (if applicable) issued by the concerned Tehsildar.
6. Copy of the relieving order (if applying as a family member of a retiring AWW/AWH).
7. Affidavit attested by the Judicial Magistrate stating:
   a) The applicant possesses the minimum and maximum qualifications as prescribed (10+2 to graduation).
   b) The candidate does not possess any higher qualification. If found otherwise at any stage, her candidature will be cancelled ab initio.

Application Submission Details:

• Applications must be submitted in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-B) and sent to the office of the undersigned either by registered post or personal delivery with proper receipt.
• Incomplete forms will be rejected without prior notice.

Important Dates:

• Start Date for Submission: 13-12-2024
• Last Date for Submission: 26-12-2024
• No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
